• Laguna Beach, CA - Family reunion "Cousin's Day" weekend.
• 2006 Idaho & Montana - One and a half weeks 4 wheeling at the Divide Ride (Continental Divide) and the sand dunes at St Anthony, ID.
• 2006 Turkey & London - Three + weeks in Turkey and 3 days in London. Istanbul, the Aegean Sea, Mediterranean Sea, and balloon ride in Cappadocia.
• 2005 Mexico - A week along the coastal area above and below Puerto Vallarta.
• 2005 Belize & Guatemala - Three and a half weeks seeing the Mayan ruins of Tikal, Carocal, and Lamanai. Plus jungle canoe trips, saltwater fishing, snorkeling zip-ling, and cave tubing.
• 2004 Europe - Mostly Holland and Germany with brief stops in a few other countries. Visited friends in both Holland and Germany. Plus we also visited the town where my family lived 350 years ago.
• 2004 Road Trip - A 7,000 mile road trip through 14 western and central states that included 20 national parks and monuments.

• 2002 the Arctic - Camping in the Brooks Range at Kutuk Pass during the caribou migration.
• 2002 Mediterranean - Girls only vacation cruise through the Mediterranean.
• 2001 Alaska - Camping and kayaking in the Endicott Arm of the Tongass National Forest about 80 miles south of Juneau. Including the Dawes Glacier and Ford's Terror.
• 2000 Thailand - Traveling in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Krabi, and Ao Nang.
• 2000 North Carolina - Hunting for historic family locations in northwest North Carolina near Valle Crusis and Sugar Grove.
• 2000 Colombia - Girls only travel to Colombia to visit family.
• 1999 Alaska - Camping and kayaking along the Alaska coast with stops at Gustavus, Admiralty Island, Yakatat. This included kayaking with humpback whales, a visit to Pack Creek Bear Sanctuary, and a fabulous visit to the remote side of the Hubbard glacier.
• 1998, 99, 01 Arizona - Guys only get-a-way to Mariner's Spring Training and golf.

• 1998 Spain - One month of traveling in Spain starting in Barcelona, we traveled through, Bilbao (Guggenheim Museum), Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada (The Alhambra), Montserrat, Figueres (Salvador Dali Museum).
